The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Line Utility/Slicer/Stacker to work at our sauces, and pickles processing facility in Holland, MI. Successful candidates must be willing to contribute improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and work for 8 to 12 hours
• Must be available to work on the weekends
• Candidates must be available to work all shifts including second, third & weekends and holidays
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred

Vacation (PTO)

New Hire Bonus

• $700 – After 3 months

• $1000 – After 1 year

For a total of $2500 from your start date!

Monday-Friday, Some Weekends 2pm-10:30pm

• The Holland plant is one of the oldest plants in the company and has been operating since 1897. Although, locally known as the “pickle factory”, currently pickles only make up 5% of the total production. In 2016 the factory installed grey poupon mills to allow the production of its iconic mustard.

WHAT WILL THE PERSON WILL BE DOING?
A successful candidate in this role is a fast learner, likes to observe and recommend changes to improve their jobs. Feels comfortable working with mechanical equipment. Candidates in this role will have plenty of opportunities to work overtime, and opportunities to be trained on different jobs and earn higher wages. Responsibilities & Duties:

• Must learn the safe and proper operation of the packaging filling equipment.
• Perform set-up, start-up and changeover procedures for the equipment as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues with line performance as it relates to equipment operation.
• Maintain downtime records during line operation.
• Remove excess empty cases from the line when shift start and during breaks
• Supply capper with the appropriate caps as stated on the line sheet
• Keep floors free of debris and water
• Bring and remove all trash cans from the line
• Set line up with small gray tubs to prevent pickles from falling on the ground
• Maintain controls for proper flow of pickles into slicers
• Make sure pickles go into slicers as they leave inspection section
• Observe for defective pickles
• Stack cases on pallets, cases must be in a pattern, once pallet is complete, place a number tag on pallet, and Call forklift driver to take pallet away
• Responsible for monitoring and communicating any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor, Team Leader, or Line Technician.
• Performing Good Sanitation Practices (GSP’s) when handling equipment.
• Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
• Perform all required observations and training timely and as scheduled.
• Support Plant Quality Systems.
• Operators could be used on other lines and CMF operations for business needs.
• Responsible to follow FSQ requirements such as GMP’s and other daily/job specific duties to support QRMP.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader.
