We seek a professional counselor to join our team of Addiction Counselors. The successful candidate will need to have a background in addiction medicine and psychiatry in order to treat patients using a variety of therapies. In addition, the Addiction Counselor will be required to collaborate with other counselors in order to create effective treatment plans for our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Implement a range of treatment protocols as prescribed by a physician.
• Recognize and respond to medical emergencies.
• Educate clients on a range of subjects including the effects of drugs and modes of treatment.
• Perform a wide variety of tasks related to the treatment of addiction.
• Maintain current knowledge of subject matter through continuing education courses and participation in professional organizations.

Pay: $25.94 - $35.86 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
