Attorney | Executive Compensation/Benefits

Koley Jessen is seeking to hire an experienced attorney to join the Executive Compensation/Benefits Practice Area in the Firm’s Employment, Labor and Benefits Department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and sophisticated group of clients and colleagues on executive compensation, tax and employee benefit matters for business clients and individuals located throughout the United States. Working alongside a team of expert attorneys, you will be involved in the design and implementation of various executive and employee incentive arrangements to meet the specific requirements of our many clients, including those involved in complex mergers and acquisitions.

What you need:

  • A minimum of two years relevant experience in executive compensation and employee benefits law specifically related to deferred compensation and equity incentive programs;
  • Applicants must currently be licensed, or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Nebraska;
  • Excellent academic and professional credentials; and
  • Experience advising clients on employee benefit issues in ERISA compliance and employee benefit programs more generally, including executive compensation, non-qualified deferred compensation (409A and 457), and equity plans (equity ownership plans, stock option plans, and alternative equity ownership plans).
