Position Overview:

The Systems Integration Engineer is responsible for overseeing multiple efforts to increase the lethality of the prototype system in support of the Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies (RCCTO) Directed Energy Indirect Fires Protection Capabilities (DE-IFPC) Project Office, which is responsible for the development, testing, integration, and fielding of the Army's High Power Microwave (HPM) capability.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the vendor-led effort to increase the lethality of the HPM system by chamber testing and ensuring adherence to the applicable Security Classification Guide (SCG).
• Oversee separate effort to analyze results of effects testing on components to increase system lethality further
• Manage all aspects of lethality tests (IPTs, briefings, inventory, shipping, etc.) to ensure completion prior to Engineering Developmental Test (EDT)
• Participate and lead working groups to ensure EDT test plan properly validates software improvements
• Develop and present briefings, analysis, and reports

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
• 5 years of experience in a relevant Engineering discipline
• Strong ability to multitask in a high-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to present complex material concisely with recommended courses of action.
• Proficiency in MS Office & MS Teams.
• Mechanical Aptitude - Ability to evaluate solutions for Technical Insertion Points.
• Software Aptitude - Ability to evaluate the software, ensuring it operates effectively and protects warfighters.
• Field Test Experience - Ability to work with OEM and government to facilitate the development of test plans.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with non-traditional defense contractors
• Experience with rapid prototyping
• Wide range of experience including system engineering, system testing, system fielding
• Experience with government radar/electronic warfare test plans

Travel: 15%
