Customer Service Representative

Knox Machinery prides itself on being the industry leader in customer service.

In this position, candidates must answer incoming calls from customers and engineers in the field. Using salesforce, you will schedule service, quote/order parts, and assist customers with any other needs they may have. Each customer’s needs are unique and it is critical this candidate possess great communication skills and software skills to assist our customers with receiving or supplying accurate information/data. A background in CNC machines, maintenance, customer support is favorable, but not a requirement. Friendly and efficient are the best skills to ensure success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provides information on a variety of complex customer service issues requiring products and transactions focusing on customer satisfaction, quality, and efficiency.
• Communicates with customers regarding service request or problems; documents, evaluates and resolves customer's inquiries.
• Function in the accounting process to navigate RFQ's, quote's, PO's, SOC's, parts tracking, and invoicing.
• Thoroughly documents all contacts and conversations; follows up as required.
• Works with other departments to complete customer requests as needed, and minimize escalations.
• Gains proficiency in various administration and automated workflow systems.
• Processes complex and varied service requests.
• Represents with professional pride to internal and external customers.
• Consistently meets/exceeds set quality and productivity metrics.
• Functions w/in a team based environment, and actively participates in achieving team goals. Meets/exceeds performance metrics as determined by department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with CNC Machine Tool Industry, B to B customer service is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Fundamental computer knowledge and maneuverability within window applications.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft office suite, specifically Word and Excel.
• Salesforce experience is a plus, but not mandetory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
