We’re now hiring a HR Assistant to work on routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including assisting with payroll, benefits, FMLA Workers Compensation and enforcing company policies and practices. As the Human Resources Assistant  for KLN you’ll work closely with our Human Resource Department to identify human resource needs, initiatives and solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering human resources, initiatives and solutions.
• Providing proactive, innovative, customer-focused HR solutions that are aligned with the needs of the business objectives.
• Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes the KLN values: People First, Quality and Safety, Tradition and Trust, Bold Innovation, and Community and Beyond.
• Knowledge in employment law, a strong problem-solver who is skilled in resolving people issues and committed to creating a culture of engagement..
• Entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance..
• Assist in the communication, interpretation, and contributes to the development of policies.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in Spanish/English 
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or a related field 
• 2-3 years Human Resources experience 
• PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.
• Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
• Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
