UNIT DESCRIPTION
They are seeking a BMET II for an opportunity at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania. This is a 267 bed Level 1 trauma centre and teaching hospital located in rural northern Pennsylvania.
Robert Packer Hospital is part of The Guthrie Clinic that provides care throughout the central part of both New York State and Pennsylvania.
They are rapidly expanding the integration of medical equipment into their EMR system and have been recognized nationally as a technology integration leader.
Applicants will be joining an experienced team of biomeds and imaging specialists that provide support to The Guthrie Clinic's medical and imaging equipment requiring occasional travel between multiple sites.
Experience in the operating room, sterilizer, or laboratory equipment is a plus.
Position Summary
Troubleshoots, inspects, repairs, maintains and calibrates a comprehensive range of clinical equipment, devices, systems and instruments.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : (Hiring Companies ATS Questions) :
1. Do you have a Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment.
2. Do you have 3 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting.
3. Do you have experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
4. Do you have experience in troubleshooting and repairing medical devices.
5. Do you have experience in Cathlab and / or sterilizer.
6. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
