As a Biomedical Equipment Technician, you'll take charge of ensuring the quality and timely maintenance of all biomedical equipment. We're seeking candidates with exceptional technical prowess, outstanding customer service acumen, and a dedication to delivering swift and efficient repair services.
Ideal candidates for this position should possess:
- Strong preference for experience in OR/Cathlab and/or sterilizer operations.
- A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical repair within the healthcare technology domain.
- Previous exposure to hospital or healthcare settings.
- Proficiency in making informed decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills.

Position Summary
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating a diverse range of clinical equipment, devices, systems, and instruments.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Providing advanced support for equipment directly impacting patient care.
- Collaborating with clinical health providers to identify and address technology-related challenges.
- Addressing organization-level customer service issues and complaints.
- Generating required documentation and reports.
- Championing a safety-first mindset.
- Overseeing financial aspects related to parts procurement and service.
- Mentoring and coaching staff to promote their development.
Basic Qualifications & Requirements
- Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering, or a related field focused on managing, maintaining, and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment.
- At least 8 years of experience in electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical repair within a healthcare technology setting.
