KL&A provides a rare opportunity for engineers in a consulting firm to work side-by-side with construction managers delivering economical, integrated projects to our clients and owners. We are looking for folks experienced in multiple structural systems and materials. They should gravitate toward unique challenges while pursuing the best solutions for the end user.
Required Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering
Able to work in the US now and in the future WITHOUT sponsorship
Colorado Licensed PE, SE, or 4-5 years design experience
Willingness to produce Contract Documents in Revit
Knowledge of material design codes and building codes
Dedication to client-centered service and technical excellence
Demand for quality and continued improvement
Desire to work in a collaborative team-based environment
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Revit Structures and generating Contract Documents
Experience with analysis software such as RAM, RISA or ETABS
Project Management and leadership experience
Steel construction management
Design of mass timber buildings
Structural life-cycle assessments
High-rise design experience a plus

Salary: $84,000 - $104,000
Occasional bonuses paid based on company profitability, but are not guaranteed.
Benefits: Medical: 80% of Family policy is paid by KL&A, Dental and Vision is 100% paid by KL&A, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, 401K matching, and vacation and sick leave.
