In this unique role as the Donor Relations and Outreach Coordinator, you will work closely with the Director of Philanthropy to connect our community with KHS’ mission, while increasing overall awareness and support of our work in animal welfare.
Who are we?
Kitsap Humane Society (KHS) is one of the leading animal welfare shelters in our Pacific Northwest region. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome homeless animals. We are committed to upholding an open admissions policy for stray pets, while maintaining an extensive adoption program, a low euthanasia rate, and excellence in all our services.
What is the opportunity?
This role works to support a broad range of organizational goals by advancing public awareness of our organization’s mission through community engagement, workplace giving, third party fundraising, new donor stewardship and outreach. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, strong technology skills, and have a sincere commitment to working collaboratively with a range of constituent groups, including staff, board members, volunteers, and community partners. Candidate will also demonstrate a strong passion for animals and our animal welfare mission.
