KIPP Memphis Public Schools is part of KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program), a national network of tuition-free, open-enrollment, public schools that are successful in helping students from educationally underserved communities develop the knowledge, skills, character, and habits needed to succeed in college and the competitive world beyond. There are currently 280 KIPP schools across the nation serving nearly 120,000 students. Founded in 2002, KIPP Memphis serves over 1,200 K-12 students in our three North Memphis schools and almost 900 alumni on their journeys to-and-through college with our KIPP Forward Program.

Job Description
Purpose and Scope
The Summer Boost Secretary is a cornerstone of the work we do at KIPP Memphis. The Summer Boost Secretary plays a primary role in coordinating the school administrative systems and routines that allow the school to run on a daily basis including financial management through placing orders and processing invoices, managing student enrollment, serving as the primary caretaker of student information, and that parents, students, and community members are greeted with a service-focused team when entering our schools.

Physical Demands: Requires sedentary work involving standing or walking for brief periods, exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular basis; and some dexterity in operating office equipment; must be able to use hands and fingers
