Role Description

Join our team as a full-time Ammonia Service Technician at KIP Services LLC, where you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and elevating our service quality.

This position involves installation, maintenance, and repair of ammonia refrigeration systems. You'll also have the opportunity to assist in the development and commissioning of refrigeration control systems.

Ideal candidates are those with extensive ammonia refrigeration experience, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Regular travel across Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, and Oklahoma is part of the job, with occasional overnight stays. A company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Safety First : A strong commitment to performing daily duties with safety as your top priority.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration system installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Skilled in preventative maintenance and Process Safety Management (PSM) solutions.
• Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical components and systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Keen attention to detail for accurate process following.
• Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Computer and iPad proficiency for electronic documentation.
• Independent and collaborative work abilities.
• Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association (RETA) Certification or equivalent.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant certification is a plus.
• Ability to undergo a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and use a full-face respirator.
• Personal hand-tools (power and specialty tools provided by the company).
