Travelling Superintendent

National Contractor with proven experience in building Commercial Retail Projects.
They possess long-standing relationships with several major clients and have a proven track record of delivering projects. They are looking to hire a traveling superintendent who can cover the south east in states such as Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Florida.

They are looking to hire a seasoned Superintendent who is willing to travel throughout the DMV and Carolinas region to work on commercial projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision and contractor management
• Monitor labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs
• Coordinate materials
• Work to effectively meet construction deadlines
• Oversee site safety and adhere to company best-practice protocols
• Work closely with the project manager to develop project schedules
• See project through from inception to completion
• Maintain daily project logs
• Supervise and mentor Assistant Superintendents

Experience Required

• At least 7 years’ experience working as a Construction Superintendent
• Experience in warehousing, industrial or similar commercial facilities is preferred
• Prior experience working in a travelling position is preferred
• Base building
• Interiors
• Tilt-up project experience
• Proven track record in taking large projects from conception through completion
• Excellent breadth of knowledge across major construction disciplines – concrete, framing, MEP, structural works is preferred
• Strong communication skills- written and oral

Salary Range: $110,000-$140,000
