Civil Superintendent

Kinney Construction Services, Inc. (KCS) is seeking a Civil Field Superintendent for our corporate headquarters in Flagstaff, AZ. The responsibility of this role is to plan, organize, and manage construction efforts within the

Civil division resulting in the successful execution of fieldwork, job schedules, budget compliance, and customer satisfaction for our horizontal construction projects.

Project Types: Sitework, Grading, Excavation, Storm Water, Underground Utilities (Wet & Dry),
Roadwork, Treatment Plants, Asphalt Paving and Concrete.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, organize, and manage construction project efforts, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and of exceptional quality.
• Establishes, communicates, monitors, and evaluates construction goals and strategic plans.
• Meets company equipment utilization goals and ensures maximum and best use of equipment and manpower resources.
• Builds and maintains positive working relationships with clients, design consultants, QA/QC representatives, and subcontractors
• Completes internal administrative organization responsibilities and documentation, including project logs, reports, files, and associated records.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of ten years’ experience with the above referenced project types and responsibilities.
• Minimum of six years’ experience supervising others
• Strong work ethic, team player with strong attention to details and ability to work independently
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical, and sound judgment skills
