Organizational Overview
The King County Regional Homelessness Authority (KCRHA) is an administrative agency that oversees homelessness-related programs and funding in the Seattle-King County region. Created by an interlocal agreement between the City of Seattle and King County in 2019, KCRHA is responsible for unifying and coordinating the homelessness response system across our large and diverse region. KCRHA works with a wide range of stakeholders, focusing on continuous improvement across the system, centering on lived experience, meeting the needs of people experiencing homelessness, and making the most effective use of public funds. Our mission is to significantly decrease homelessness throughout King County, using equity and social justice principles. We are currently seeking skilled leaders at all levels.
Team Overview
KCRHA is responsible for equitable and competitive procurement of homelessness services. KCRHA procures homelessness services whenever additional or reallocated funding becomes available and periodically as service contracts expire. The Grants and Procurement team oversees the implementation of KCRHA’s equity-based procurement process and actively seeks grant opportunities. The team collaborates closely with the Access and Engagement and Homeless Crisis Response Investments Teams, as well as the Executive Office, to ensure direct alignment with KCRHA’s overarching strategy and goals. Approximately three team members work directly in related roles.
Role Description
The Grants and Procurement Manager serves as a team leader, overseeing the day‐to‐day grants management and procurement functions at the King County Regional Homelessness Authority. The Grants Procurement Manager ensures that all purchases comply with County, State, and Federal regulations. This position confers with all divisions to determine needs, legal requirements, specifications, and contract execution.
