Responsibilities:

• Exceptional Customer Service: Provide personalized and attentive service to all guests, anticipating their needs and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
• Menu Knowledge: Thoroughly understand the menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and any special dietary considerations. Make recommendations and offer guidance to guests based on their preferences.
• Order Taking and Accuracy: Take orders accurately and efficiently, inputting them into the POS system promptly. Double-check orders for accuracy before submitting to the kitchen.
• Upselling and Promotion: Promote specials, seasonal dishes, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Utilize suggestive selling techniques while being mindful of guest preferences.
• Table Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized section, ensuring tables are properly set and equipped with necessary utensils, glassware, and condiments. Clear dishes and reset tables promptly to accommodate incoming guests.
• Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders. Communicate any guest preferences or special requests to the kitchen accurately.
• Problem Resolution: Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, seeking solutions to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Cash Handling: Process payments accurately, including cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments. Handle cash and credit card transactions securely and follow established procedures for cash reconciliation.
• Knowledge of Beverage Service: Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, with expertise and attention to detail. Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
• Teamwork: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, supporting fellow team members and contributing to a cohesive and productive team dynamic.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant setting.
• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine pairings and cocktail preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
