Kinderdance is a mobile dance, gymnastics and yoga company that has been in the Austin area for 21 years. We continue to grow and are looking for some new teachers to join our team. Looking to hire a new instructor immediately!

Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct dance classes for students of various ages and skill levels - ages 2-6
- Present lesson plans in engaging, educational, and age-appropriate manner
- Teach students different dance techniques, styles, and choreography
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills
- Get students ready for dance recitals and performances
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to ensure a positive learning environment
- Maintain a safe and inclusive space for all students - Must have reliable transportation as this is a mobile job

Requirements:
- Previous experience in teaching or tutoring dance, preferably with children
- Knowledge of different dance styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop and tap as well as knowledge of yoga and tumbling
- Ability to effectively communicate and educate students of different ages and backgrounds
- Familiarity with preschool programs is a plus
- Experience working with special education or childcare is a plus
- Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and class management

You must have a dance background and/or dance knowledge as well as experience teaching young children ages 2-6. This is not a full time position. Any hired instructor will have between 5-8 hours a week of classes. Please don't apply if you need full time work.

We are looking for a teacher specifically who lives in the North Austin area. Since this is a mobile company, you will have to drive to teaching locations.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
