Kimley-Horn has a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an entry-level, motivated grant writing/ administrator to join our Sarasota, Florida office. The successful candidate will become part of an emerging practice specializing in grant writing and administration.
Responsibilities of a grant writer/administrator include identifying, locating, applying for, and administering grants on behalf of a local government, agency, or organization (collectively, the “Client”). Funding sources may include Federal, State, and Local agencies, as well other sources such as Legislative Appropriations, foundations, or other third-party organizations. This funding may be used for a variety of development purposes and projects.
Job duties include:
The grant writer/administrator may also be responsible for compliance and reporting to the funding organization as may be outlined in the funding contract between the client and the funder.
