Working Hours: Overtime is not required and will be avoided if possible
Uniform: black collared shirt and apron provided by Nest/ black slacks/ black slip resistant shoes
Job Summary: Describes menu and daily specials, takes orders, serves food and makes sure customers have everything needed to enjoy their meals. Responsible for coordinating entire station and communicating front- and back-of-house personnel to provide a dining experience that meets or exceeds customer's expectations. Processes guest orders to ensure all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis. Observes diners to ensure they are satisfied with food and service, responds to additional requests, and determines when the meal has been completed. Rings up bills and accepts payment. May assist bus person in stocking, removing and resetting dishes and silverware between courses, and cleaning and resetting vacated tables.
Principal Duties/Tasks:
Physical Skills: Squatting, bending, kneeling is required. Carrying weight that exceed 25 lbs. with one arm and many duties that require carrying weight of 50 lbs. scrubbing walls/floors, walking and standing for periods of 6 hours or more per shift.

Required Work Habits: Include attendance, team work, initiative, dependability, promptness and trust worthiness.
Required Work Experience: 2 years minimum serving experience - casual or fine dining experience preferred
Required Education: Thorough knowledge of food and Beverage service operational procedures as would normally be acquired through a high school education or equivalent.
Required Certifications/Licenses: Any certificate or special training such as, SERV-Safe, ABC TIPS certificate or any leadership courses is recommended but not required.
Working Conditions: Work primarily indoors in a bar/lounge/restaurant environment. Exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement hazards, sharp utensils, extremely hot stoves, grills and food items, and dangerous chemicals/solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed.
