Job Summary
Are you passionate about providing nurturing care and fostering the development of children during their critical early years? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Preschool Teacher to join our warm and loving daycare program. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can thrive and reach important milestones. Responsibilities

• Create an engaging and inclusive child care that sparks curiosity and supports children's exploration and discovery.
• Teachers implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Foster a positive daycare atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials for teachers to teach different learning styles and abilities.
• Plan and facilitate stimulating activities, including arts and crafts, music and movement, storytelling, and outdoor play, to promote holistic development.
• Assess children's progress, document observations, and maintain accurate records to inform individualized instruction and communicate with our daycare parents/guardians.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a cohesive and enriching daycare.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on their child's development, milestones, and areas of growth within the daycare.
• Foster positive relationships with parents/guardians through open and respectful communication, parent-teacher conferences, and involvement in daycare events.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations and implementing appropriate procedures of the daycare.
• Stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in childcare to continually enhance teacher methods and strategies.

Qualifications

• Passion for child care and a genuine interest in fostering the development of daycare children.
• Previous experience as a Teacher or in a similar role is highly desirable, demonstrating a strong foundation in child care education principles.
• A CDA or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is appreciated.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and fellow teachers.
• Creativity and resourcefulness in designing and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and lessons in the daycare.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to ensure a well-structured and engaging daycare environment.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish positive and nurturing relationships with children and their families.
• First aid and CPR certifications are required, showcasing your commitment to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment. We help with obtaining and renewal of your certifications.
