This position assumes the responsibility for coordinating and managing KID/FCI signature events from creation to execution including logistics, negotiations, scheduling, committee and sponsor relations, and acquisition of event needed items such as, but not limited to, auction items.
Additionally, this position will act as a KID/FCI liaison for community events via communication and representation. Must develop sponsor/corporate partner relations with current/new supporters, demonstrate an ability to increase revenue through those relationships, and assist the Advancement team to identify event participants with the potential to give major gifts to KID/FCI and assist in donor strategy and solicitation. Specific marketing efforts to promote the agency's mission through public speaking and written presentations, and appeals required.
This position also requires creativity in articulation and design of written presentations; supportive coordination with the KID/FCI leadership team. Must uphold, improve and promote the positive image of Kids In Distress/Family Central. Must possess excellent organizational and management skills and have the ability to motivate direct staff. This position reports to the Vice President of Advancement.
