Job Description:

KGA provides employee assistance services to help organizations create and sustain a healthy, engaged and productive workforce. Our services include robust Employee Assistance Programs, professional development and training, and other wellness services. With an emphasis on integrity, responsiveness, and respect, we proudly serve over 300K employees and their family members nationwide.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting telephone intakes and assessments
• Short term phone and in person counseling
• Research and referrals for clinical requests

Our EAP Counselors do 5-6 intakes each day. Excellent case management and customer service skills are crucial. We utilize many web-based tools to maximize efficiencies and have a customized database. Strong computer skills are essential to be successful in this role. Prior EAP experience is preferred, but not required. Weekly clinical supervision for licensure will be provided.

Other requirements include:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling
• 1-4 years’ post graduate experience
• LCSW; LICSW or LMHC eligible
• Strong assessment skills
• Experience working with substance use disorders preferred
• Experience supporting diverse, multi-cultural populations; bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus
