RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Lehi, UT that is seeking a seasoned Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Business Applications team. In this role, you will be tasked with spearheading all code-based solutions within Salesforce, including data migrations, systems integrations, and third-party applications.
Summary:
Collaborating closely with the Salesforce Administrator and Business Analyst, this role is pivotal in crafting solutions that align with business requirements and facilitate key business decisions. Moreover, the selected candidate will collaborate with our Workday and ServiceNow team to extend development efforts beyond Salesforce.
Responsibilities:
* Developing in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and leveraging the SLDS CSS library to create tailored solutions
* Providing technical leadership, establishing best practices in integration and application development, deployment, and testing
* Crafting detailed technical design specifications to ensure solutions align with business requirements and are scalable
* Maintaining comprehensive system architecture diagrams to reflect the evolving Salesforce landscape accurately
* Identifying opportunities to leverage Salesforce for process enhancement and productivity improvement
* Defining, communicating, and overseeing a change management process for application/code development and updates
* Ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) for responsiveness, communication, and productivity
* Collaborating with the Senior Automation Engineer to provide development support across various systems
* Offering comprehensive support to all departments, addressing automation and integration needs
* Effectively communicating project status updates to stakeholders, promoting transparency and accountability
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5 years of experience as a Programmer, Developer, or Web Engineer
* 2 years of previous development experience in Salesforce
* Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications
* Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering and solution deployment
* Understanding of Salesforce architecture and API
* Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Design System and SFDX
* Proficiency in Apex controllers, scheduled apex, batch apex, and triggers
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Salesforce Platform Developer 1 Certification
* Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby) and higher-level languages (e.g., Java, C#)
* Experience with IPaaS tools and Agile or Scrum methodologies
* Familiarity with Workato, Workday Studio, and ServiceNow IntegrationHub
* Familiarity with source code repositories and project planning tools
* Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming practices and Test-Driven Development or Domain Driven Development
* Proficiency in HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, SQL/SOQL
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
