RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a hybrid Release Train Engineer to join their team in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities:
* Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) Events: Lead and facilitate ART events including Program Increment (PI) Planning, Inspect and Adapt (I&A) workshops, Scrum of Scrums, and other necessary ceremonies to ensure alignment, transparency, and collaboration among teams
* Coach and Support Agile Teams: Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Agile teams and Scrum Masters in implementing Agile practices, ceremonies, and principles effectively; Help teams identify and address impediments to their progress
* Manage Program Backlog: Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to manage the program backlog, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business objectives; Work closely with Product Owners to refine and groom user stories for upcoming Program Increments
* Drive Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within Agile teams and across the organization; Identify areas for improvement in Agile processes, practices, and tools, and work with stakeholders to implement solutions
* Provide Transparency and Visibility: Ensure transparency and visibility into the progress of ARTs and Agile teams by maintaining relevant metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms; Communicate status, risks, and dependencies effectively to stakeholders at all levels
* Collaborate with Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including Product Owners, business leaders, and technical teams; Collaborate closely with other RTEs and Agile coaches to drive organizational alignment and consistency
* Ensure Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe) and organizational policies; Provide guidance on Agile governance processes and ensure adherence to relevant standards and regulations
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification required. SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe RTE) preferred
* Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or similar role in Agile software development environments, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and experience implementing Agile practices at scale
* Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
* Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
* Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and drive solutions
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
