Kforce Technology Staffing is Hiring a Project Manager (Utilities) Near Tucson, AZ

Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tucson, AZ looking for a Project Manager. The PM will be working closely with team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of said plans. To be a successful Project Manager, this person will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes. A Project Management Professional (PMP) and Scrum certification is a huge advantage.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
* Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues
* Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards
* Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
* Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution
* Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget
* Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients
* Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients
* Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables
* Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period
* Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements
* ERP project oversight
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
* Energy/Utilities background
* Agile background
* Experience with projects that are billing-related
* Experience with projects on point-to-cash, meter-to-cash, or customer meter reading
* Proven experience in project management
* Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion
* Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
* Experience as a Utilities project manager, IT project manager, or ERP project manager
* Able to complete projects in a timely manner
* Understanding of ERP implementation
* Experience overseeing an Enery/Utilities project
* Budget management experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
