RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is looking for a contract-to-hire Program Manager specializing in Data Modernization for a leading financial institution. The incumbent must reside in Texas and can work remote primarily.
Summary:
As an IT Program Manager specializing in Data Modernization, you will play a key role in driving the modernization efforts for our Data Warehouse and Reporting systems. Collaborating closely with our Data Leader, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of program initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects, including Customer 360 initiatives, real-time data streaming, and more.
Responsibilities:
* Program Manager - Data Modernization will develop and implement program initiatives that align with organizational objectives and drive data modernization efforts
* Oversee multiple project teams to ensure program goals and milestones are met
* Manage program and project teams, optimizing resource allocation and delegating cross-project initiatives
* Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accountability for delivering against established business goals and objectives
* As a Program Manager - Data Modernization, you will collaborate with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the organization
* Take action with Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
* Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
* Agile Certification (CSM or PMI-ACP)
* Program Management Professional Certification (PgMP)
* Change Management Certification (Prosci)
* 7 years of experience in an advanced technical project management role, with a preference for program management experience
* Experience managing projects using various methodologies (predictive/waterfall, hybrid, and agile)
* Advanced knowledge of project management disciplines and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
* Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications, including MS Project
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in a relevant field
* Lean Six Sigma Certifications (LSSGB, LSSYB, LSSBB, LSS Champion)
* Demonstrated experience providing policy, strategic, and operational advice at a senior level
* Experience in stakeholder engagement on complex and high-profile issues
* Knowledge of software engineering disciplines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
