RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in NYC is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team on a contract basis!
Summary:
The ideal candidate will understand complex business needs, and then translate requirements into effective system solutions including improvements, new system features, reporting, visualization, and actionable insights. The Business Analyst will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of operating system requirements for workflow enhancements or reporting interfaces; As well as the collection and analysis of data for special projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 6 years of working experience as a data analyst or business analyst who is a major contributor to complex business system solutions
* 4 years of gathering business requirements, writing user stories, and conducting user acceptance testing
* 3 years of technical expertise regarding database design and development
* Experience working as a Business or Data Analyst in Case Management and Case Tracking Systems
* Strong knowledge of and experience with database and data analytic programs
* Advanced SQL query skills and understanding of relational database principles
* Expertise in using project management tools like JIRA
* Excellent written communication, including validating/verifying and technical writing skills
* Multi-tasking and ability to handle priorities as well as work against tight deadlines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
