RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Durham, NC that is seeking a Back End Java AWS Developer.
Responsibilities:
* The Back End Java AWS Developer will be collaborating with team members to design and develop new features for the student debt product lines
* Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code for back-end and mid-tier components
* Ensuring the scalability, performance, and reliability of our applications
* Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members
* Troubleshooting and debugging issues to maintain the integrity of our applications
* The Back End Java AWS Developer will be staying up to date with the latest technologies and best practices software development
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
* 3 years of experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications in a financial services environment in AWS or Azure
* Proven hands-on experience with design and development of muti-layer API architecture using Java/J2EE solutions and Spring framework
* Experience with database schema, PL/SQLs, stored procedures, and transactional SQL within DB/Oracle databases
* Experience with cloud data warehousing platforms such as, Snowflake or AWS Redshift and containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
* Proficiency with both version control (GIT) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Concourse preferred)
* Experience with Agile and Scrum Methodologies
* Deep problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues
* Strong communication and collaborations skills with the ability to work effective in a team environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
