POSITION SUMMARY
The role of the Ophthalmic Assistant is to work relatively close with the clinic physicians to perform basic, advanced, and complex functions. The Ophthalmic Assistant will document the patients medical record and to input any recommended treatment and/or procedures that may be performed by the doctor

The employee is regularly required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without supervision. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
