What You'll Do

2nd Shift

Pay is $21.26 per hour with 2nd shift differential of .50 per hour.

2pm to 10:20 pm

Responsibilities

  • Operate propane gas industrial fork truck equipped with lifting devices to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials
  • Supports shipping and receiving schedule, and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility
  • Move goods/products packed on pallets, and load/unload trucks or aircraft in a secure way.
  • Stack goods/products following inventory control instructions.
  • Stack empty pallets, label products and occasionally palletize by hand.
  • Perform daily pre-operation check list and equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment, and/or replacing liquified gas tank.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation regarding bulk & loading, shipping & receiving.
  • Perform a wide variety of miscellaneous duties which may include: sweeping, clean-up, removing garbage, taking samples and etc.
  • Participate in safety programs such as; safety orientation, safety committee, ergonomic committee, monthly regulatory safety trainings and Eye for safety program.
  • Follow all Kerry safety, environmental and regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • May perform any other duties assigned by leadership.
  • Required to maintain adequate performance levels as directed.
  • Must be punctual and attend scheduled hours as instructed.

What You'll Need To Be Successful And Safe

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical skills to operate and troubleshoot machinery.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift, stand, or move heavy equipment.
  • ·Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts as needed.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to achieving production goals.
  • Previous experience using a forklift preferred; minimum of 1 year, must be able to lift 50 lb.,
  • Stand, stoop for extended periods of time.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Must have a good attendance record.
  • Responsible for properly placing materials in staging areas. Computer competency.
  • RF scanner experience is a plus.
