The company was later purchased by different owners and since 1997 has been operated as a family-owned business. All manufacturing, shipping and related work is done from the company’s Kearneysville, West Virginia location. Customers include large and small retailers, as well as gun clubs and specialty shops located in the U.S and Canada.

Purchasing Associate
Job Description
Areas of responsibility
*Monitor global procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance while mitigating supply chain risks. Monitor suppliers in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timeliness.
*Establishes robust inventory practice to provide materials in support of operational schedule and maintain optimum inventory levels to minimize inventory costs.
*Analyze inventories to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, and minimize inventory costs.
*Utilize and refine planning and forecasting models for international and domestic raw materials.
*Establish proper communication with production and our suppliers on matters pertaining to schedules and delivery requirements.
*Follow up on and expedite deliveries, as needed with suppliers and shipping companies to ensure components are received on time.
*Provide needed documentation to import agents.
*Maintain product Bill of Material documentation.
*Continuously identify and execute cost-saving opportunities.
*Work with in-house mechanics in procuring necessary parts and materials for repairs and preventative maintenance.
Skilled Required
*Ability to use all essential software tools, including Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
*Attention to detail.
*Excellent communication skills
*Initiative

*18 months of supply chain experience
*Offshore sourcing experience
*Inventory turn and total on hand cost control experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
