As a Beverage Purchaser, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the inventory of beverages for Happier. Your role is crucial in ensuring the availability of high-quality beverages while maintaining cost-effectiveness and meeting the demands of customers. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, negotiate contracts, monitor inventory levels, and analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge beverage items (N/A, Wine, Spirit, Beer etc.)
• Ability to execute purchase orders in coordination with the Purchasing Manager
• Communicate with department heads regarding relevant and specific purchase needs
• Distribute requisitions and itemized templates for team member
• Oversee and assist in unloading, receiving, sorting, stocking, securing, and distributing goods on occasion
• Monitor vendors for case variances, timeliness, and price variance
• Maintain internal database of approved vendors
• Maintain updated records of purchased products and invoices
• Perform inventory counts and audits on a weekly basis (Various Locations)
• Code invoices for finance team in order to process payment in a timely manner
• Assist with maintaining inventory management and purchase order systems
• Ensure that orders are place on time and communication with Receiving team about delivery windows
