Brown & Brown is seeking a Part-time Administrative Assistant for our Employee Benefits team in Roseland, NJ .

The Administrative Assistant will support the efficient operation of office by performing clerical tasks, managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records.

Key duties include answering phone calls, handling emails, managing office supplies, and assisting with reports and presentations.

Strong organizational skills, proficiency in office software, and excellent communication abilities are essential. The role requires multitasking, attention to detail, and customer service orientation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

Answering and directing phone calls

Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, letters, packages)

Scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments

Assisting with the preparing of reports, presentations, and memos

Managing filing systems electronic

Inputting and updating data in databases and systems

Responding to inquiries and providing information

Assisting in the preparation of documents and reports

Supporting other staff with administrative tasks

Coordinating travel arrangements and itineraries

Acting as a liaison between departments and external contacts

Facilitating internal and external communications

Assisting with special projects as needed

Conducting research and compiling data for projects

WHAT YOU’LL NEED :

Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher

Able to manipulate large volumes of data as well as create, edit, and merge letters, spreadsheets, labels, etc.

Proficient knowledge use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machine, etc.)
