About us
We are an established family childcare home with three homes all next door to one another. We have lower than required state ratios and believe in treating our teachers and staff well.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Develop and follow a daily schedule that includes both structured activities and free play
- Provide individualized attention and support to children with special education needs
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Ensure the health and safety of all children in the classroom
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development
- Experience working in a classroom or childcare setting
- Ability to educate and engage young children in learning activities
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual children
- Experience in toddler care, infant care, nannying, or babysitting is a plus
