Salary: $15-$19 per hour (Based on experience and qualifications)

Job Description:

As a Preschool Teacher for 2 and 3-year-olds at Totly Childcare INC., you will play a crucial role in the early development and education of our young learners. We are seeking individuals who are kind, competent, and patient, with a genuine passion for working with children. You will work collaboratively with our team to create a positive and enriching environment where children can thrive.

Responsibilities:

- Staff members are expected to diligently implement and maximize the effectiveness of our carefully crafted lesson plans.

-We encourage our staff to improvise select activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development

- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages exploration and curiosity

- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

- Observe and assess children's progress, and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development

- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment

- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the preschool program

- Participate in professional development opportunities and training sessions

Requirements:

- Preferably hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or have education in early childhood development

- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or preschool setting is preferred

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children

- Commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all children and families
