Scotty’s Restaurant and Lounge is currently seeking Bartender to join our Keller Hospitality team in Las Vegas! We are a unique Indoor/outdoor poolside sports bar and kitchen serving crave-worthy American cuisine as well as Sunday brunch. ROLE

The Bartender is a key member of our front-of-house staff, responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests. This role may involve a combination of serving food and drinks to guests in the dining area as well as preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from the bar.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide high quality service to customers.
• Adhere to all local and national liquor laws.
• Mix and serve drinks following set standard recipes for wine, beer and crafted cocktails.
• Greet guests in a timely manner and take orders.
• Making drinks in a quick and efficient manner
• POS knowledge and process cash and credit card transactions following appropriate procedures.
• Communicate with managers and hosts regarding table availability and key table updates.
• Follow up with guests about their meal and dining experience to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety.
• Maintaining inventory and inventory control of bar supplies
• Knowledge of all Food and Beverage menus, specials, and Property details.
• Responsible for all opening and closing procedures and cleanliness of bar areas.
• Check customers’ identification to ensure they are of legal drinking age.
• Must always have all work cards on their person.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of High-volume restaurant and bar experience (preferred)
• Required Clark County Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Card, Sheriff Card
• A gracious, friendly, patient, and helpful attitude towards guests
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a well-manicured appearance and persona that reflects the image of the restaurant.
• Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently.
• Routine standing for duration of shift (up to 8 hours)
• Working knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulation
