Job Summary

Elizabethtown Community & Technical College is seeking an Administrative Assistant III to provide clerical support to the Physical Sciences Division.

Job Duties:

• Prepares correspondence, minutes of meetings, and reports as directed.
• Prepares course materials and makes copies for faculty members.
• Order supplies for the division members.
• Monitors the building copier and Scantron machine and ensures adequate stock of supplies.
• Assists with confidential materials related to the division or program.
• Maintains area appointment schedules.
• Assists in scheduling logistics including but not limited to formatting the division schedule for submission, room searches, and course change forms.
• Proofread correspondence and reports for accuracy in spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• Compiles data to be used in charts or reports.
• Maintains inventory of stock and equipment.
• Participates in the development of office procedures and methods.
• Develop a spreadsheet of course schedules based on PeopleSoft queries.
• Assist students with scheduling and problems that arise.
• Tracks department expenses, runs required procurement reports and matches invoices to reports.
• Assists in scheduling logistics including but not limited to, formatting the division schedule for submission, room searches, and course change forms.

• Maintains spreadsheet for department budget.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma with 3-4 years of experience or equivalent (Associates degree and 2 years of experience)
