We have a full time, on-site position available for an experienced, high volume Accounts Payable processor to join a growing and dynamic company in the Greensboro area

The primary responsibility will be processing invoices timely and accurately in accordance with established process. 85% of this position will be keying high volume invoices in a fast paced environment

• Processes invoices for payment
• Responsible for ensuring timely invoice entry into AP subledger to facilitate ability discount potential and payment terms and input into ERP system eliminate late fees/interest. This includes 3-way matched purchase orders, all other invoices, accurate coding with appropriate general ledger account and obtaining required approvals.
• Resolve internal and external discrepancies associated with vendors' invoicing errors, making necessary adjustments.
• Ensure invoice approvals obtained timely when needed following authorization process
• Ensure invoices are coded correctly to the appropriate work centers and accounts, recode as needed
• Provide list of invoices not processed at month-end for accrual
• Provide back up to Account Receivable Clerk as needed

QUALIFICATIONS OF CANDIDATE

• Financial/Accounting degree with a strong technical background or comparable experience
• Outstanding computer proficiency required. Must be highly skilled with MS Office with strong Excel and ERP skills
• Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills
• Accounts Payable experience helpful but not required
• Knowledge of account payable/general ledger systems and procedures, and financial chart of accounts

Direct Hire and On-Site role

$18.00 - $20.00/hour
