A manufacturing company located in the Northampton, MA area is actively seeking a Payroll Clerk for an immediate part time opening. Reporting to the Owner, the Payroll Clerk will be responsible for processing payroll and processing employee benefits. The Payroll Clerk will perform the following:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare tax info for CPA
- Submit weekly payroll
- Adjustment of withholdings
- IRA contributions
- Track vacation hours
- Data entry
- QuickBooks Desktop experience
- 2 years of Checkwriters payroll experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
Compensation Package: Up to $27/hour depending on experience
