Title:
Records Management CoordinatorWe are seeking a detail-oriented Records Management Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and efficient conversion of paper records to digital format, ensuring the integrity and quality of data. This role involves repetitive tasks that require a high level of attention to detail and the ability to handle physical activities associated with document management.
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
Utilize highspeed scanners to convert paper records into digital format, primarily PDFs.
Ensure quality assurance by reviewing digital documents for errors and inconsistencies.
Remove obstacles that may impede the process of scanning and data conversion.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work area, including the management of physical records before and after scanning.
Move and lift boxes weighing up to 30 lbs. from the ground and in between desks as required.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Proven experience in data entry or a related field.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to focus on repetitive tasks.
Familiarity with document scanning equipment and document management systems.
Constantly position self to maintain file cabinets, including under the desks and in storage closet.
Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, and computer printer/scanner.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly.
Preferred Education & Skills:
Associate or bachelor’s degree.
