Kawata Dental is Hiring a Dental Receptionist Near Los Angeles, CA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and friendly full time front office staff member to join our general dental practice in West LA. The position is for 4 days per week Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Must have excellent communication skills, customer service, and get along well with others. At least one year of dental office experience and knowledge of dental terminology and Dentrix software is required. The position pays depending on experience with a range of $22-$25 starting.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and assist with registration and paperwork
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment book using Dentrix Software
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Collect payments and assist with patient billing
  • Manage patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date files using Dentrix software
  • Assist with the other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a dental office
  • Knowledge of Dentrix software
  • Ability to answer patient questions regarding dental procedures and insurance
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and computer skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
