Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for all aspects of the customer’s experience including but not limited to ticketing passengers and freight, answering phones, booking reservations, retail and assisting customers knowledgeably, professionally and efficiently.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
· Ticketing customers, answering phones efficiently, receiving and ticking freight
· Knowledgeable of our destinations, rates, fees and tour products
· Establishing a warm, welcome, and friendly relationship with each customer in person, over the phone and through email.
· Assist customers with retail sales including handling cash and credit card machine
· Responsible for keeping retail stocked and inventory updated
· Responsible for keeping lobby, bathrooms and work area clean
· Assisting with passenger loading and unloading as needed
· Participate in all company training
· Responsible for complying with opening and closing procedures
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements:
· Working knowledge / Interest of the tourism industry
· Must possess excellent customer service skills to effectively deal with the traveling public and other employees.
· Speak fluent English and have excellent oral and written communication skills
· Ability to complete multiple tasks
· Must always maintain a professional appearance and follow company uniform policy
· Knowledge of software programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
Physical and Mental Abilities Required:
· Ability to work long hours, evenings and weekends as needed
· Ability to stand for long periods of time
· Ability to operate computers and other office equipment
· High level of integrity, diplomacy and initiative
· Ability to maintain confidentiality
· Lift 50lbs
