STATUS: Regular, Full-time

LOCATION: Newkirk, OK

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor degree in business, public administration, emergency management, safety and one (1) year of professional experience in emergency preparedness or operations at the tribal, state, city or federal level, or safety/code compliance experience, substituting for college education. May satisfy education and/or experience requirements with an appropriate combination of additional education, experience, training, or project management. Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and maintain such status, as well as possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be and continue to be insurable.

Responsibilities and Duties:

All new hires will be required by the Kaw Nation (post hire) to submit to a pre employment drug screen and background check. Failure to pass the drug screen or the background check will lead to withdrawal of the job offer or termination of employment.

• Four (4) hours of Sick Leave begins accruing with the first paycheck and each full check during employment. This amount remains the same throughout employment.
