Well established Oilfield Manufacturing company in OKC looking for Accountant with full charge bookkeeping skills including general ledger, payroll, A/R and A/P.

Core Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable – Responsible for inputting, reconciling and payment of vendor invoices

• Accounts Receivable – Responsible for accurately creating and submitting invoices to customers via their preferred delivery method (mail, email, OpenInvoice, etc)

• Performs bank and credit card reconciliations and traces discrepancies

• Performs payroll functions to ensure employees and contractors are paid in a timely manner

• Prepares appropriate schedules and reports as requested by management

• Month-end and Year End compilation of financials

• Gather data for various yearly reporting requirements (Audits, Census Reporting, etc)

Requirements:

• Solid background in QuickBooks
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
• Solid background in performing payroll tasks and utilizing payroll systems
• General accounting knowledge of general ledger and financial statements
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years prior experience in a bookkeeping/accounting position
• "Hands On" experience with QuickBooks, Intuit, and Microsoft Excel
