Technical Trainer

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

To enhance Kaseya’s Global Training and Documentation team, we are seeking a Technical Trainer with proven training experience to empower our customers and employees via live and virtual training engagements. The successful candidate will have technical aptitude and fluency, experience developing and presenting instructional materials, and the ability to instruct both technical and non-technical audiences. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and engaging manner. This position will report to and be supported by the Training Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop a deep end-user / administrator understanding of Kaseya’s Security and IT Operations software solutions, understand typical customer use cases, and understand how the solutions benefit our customers. 
• Deliver high-quality, engaging, and relevant live and virtual technical product training to a range of audience skill levels and sizes. 
• Prepare learners to take and pass certification exams.
• Act as a subject matter expert on technical training content and provide guidance to instructional designers as needed.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy of training material.
• Mentor and train new team members as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Education, or related field preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in training, public speaking, or related experience.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud services. • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and network security protocols.
• Knowledge of technical training principles, practices, and procedures.
• An understanding of varied adult learning styles and methodologies.
• Knowledge of assessment and evaluation methods.
• Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, video scripts.
• Familiarity with multimedia content creation and editing tools, and learning management systems (LMS).
• Training certification (ATD Master Trainer or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive and proactive attitude towards work and colleagues.
• Able to competently juggle competing tasks and changing expectations.
• Understanding of business needs and the ability to establish cross-departmental relationships. 

Location, hours, and travel

Orlando, Florida, USA

Candidate will typically work EST.

Domestic and international travel to deliver live customer training at multi-day events. Potential travel to other Kaseya offices to deliver live employee training one week per month.
