WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a meticulous and analytically adept Credit Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses, assessing financial data, and providing insights to inform credit decisions. This role is crucial in minimizing credit risk and ensuring sound financial practices within the organization. Responsibilities may vary over time, with the position potentially emphasizing specific areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with implementing and executing credit management strategy.
- Review and assess credit line applications, credit increase requests, and perform credit risk assessments promptly.
- Conduct periodic credit line adjustment reviews and decrease lines as needed.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance departments to align credit requirements with business development changes.
- Prepare credit reports to meet client and business needs.
- Provide support on credit committee requests.
- Complete other credit-related tasks as required by leadership.
- Provide cross-functional support to the broader treasury team.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Experience in corporate credit risk management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and tight deadlines.
- Possess analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
