Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting medical administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hospital setting and contribute to the well-being of patients. Duties: - Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers - Assist with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting patient information and treatment plans - Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling phone calls - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care - Follow proper protocols for infection control and maintaining a clean and safe work environment Skills: - Proficient in medical terminology and documentation - Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology - Ability to provide basic life support in emergency situations - Experience with medical coding and billing is preferred - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Requirements: - Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program - Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required - Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic health record systems We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Medical Assistants.
