The Position

Kapwing is seeking a part-time office coordinator to support our team at our headquarters in San Francisco. This person will come into our office 3-5 days per week to tidy, organize, and support company administration. Flexible hours with some opportunity to extend hours during busy weeks. Join a dynamic startup and contribute to an inviting, productive office environment and creative culture. Looking for someone positive and organized with a service-oriented attitude. Starting part-time and hourly with potential to grow into an HR role or customer support role over time.

Requirements

  • 2 years of full-time professional experience
  • Corporate experience is a plus. 
  • Organized with attention to detail. You can manage a long checklist, remember specifics, and complete tasks efficiently and thoroughly. 
  • Keen aesthetic sense. Enjoys designing a space, sourcing furniture and art.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience with event planning, logistics, or office management is a plus 
  • Independent and able to manage time
  • Cheerful, positive attitude and oriented towards community-building
Responsibilities
  • Office tidiness: Unpack boxes, unload dishwasher, organize supplies, change seasonal decor, and clear common areas
  • Pick up mail, sort papers, and file miscellaneous paperwork
  • Stocking: Order food, snacks, and office supplies when appropriate
  • Computers: Manage hardware and repairs
  • Coordinate with vendors, partners, and facilities manager to ensure that the office remains functional
  • Prepare for weekly happy hours and social events
  • Expected to work approximately 5-8 hours per week, with specific days and times negotiable based on candidate availability

Flexible hours: We have a hybrid work policy, with our SF and NYC office available 24/7 and required in-person attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We also have flexible hours for balanced schedules that fit around employee constraints and preferences.

Hiring process

Our hiring process is designed for candidates to learn about our company just as much as it is for our team to learn about a candidate. Most candidates will start with a short intro phone call , and depending on the team, a sample project or skills-based interviews will be scheduled afterwards. For SF and NYC job seekers, we invite candidates onsite final interview to meet some of the team and see Kapwing's office, or we do the "onsite" virtually if you prefer.
