K-T Industries is Hiring a Field sales representative Near Huntsville, TX
MERCHANDISING / SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Exciting Travel Opportunity with Company Vehicle and Expenses Paid
FULL TIME POSITION
Seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, and driven individual with 2 years retail or merchandising experience. Retail work history within the welding / tool wholesale industry is preferred, but will train qualified candidate.
The individual will be responsible for servicing a geographic territory including but not limited to most of the Midwest United States.
They will be assigned an existing customer base where they will be expected to maintain, service, order and grow relationships within current accounts.
Many opportunities to excel and grow professionally with the company.
If you are an organized, self-reliant, and self-motivated individual and enjoy building relationships with existing customers, this is the job for you!
Requirements
Calling on and servicing established retail customers. Including, but not limited to
- Ordering
- Setting up new departments
- Keeping the K-T display successfully merchandised
- Showing latest items
- Demonstrating Items
- Attending grand openings
Calling on potential new customers. Showing them the benefits of the K-T line. Including, but not limited to :
- Cold calling
- Emails
- Phone
- Overnight travel required, depending on your location
Working with Regional Sales Manager to develop sales strategies and meet year end goals
Complete Administrative Tasks Including but not limited to :
- Completing Calendar Protocol
- Expense Reporting
- Keeping Contacts updated
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong time management skills
- Highly Organized
- A clean and valid driver’s license
- Computer proficiency a plus
- Merchandising and Sales Experience preferred, but will train the right individual
- Self-motivated
- Strong ability to prioritize and problem solve
