K-T Industries is Hiring a Field Sales (Outside Sales) Representative Near Harlingen, TX

SALES TERRITORY REPRESENTATIVE

FULL TIME POSITION

Seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, sales driven individual to join our sales team. The individual will be responsible for the geographic territory including but not limited to Southern Texas. They will be assigned an existing customer base where they will be expected to maintain and grow relationships and sales. They also will be expected to build and grow their customer base.

If you are an organized, self-reliant, and self-motivated individual and enjoy building relationships with existing customers, this is the job for you!

The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for:

Calling on and servicing established retail customers. Including, but not limited to

  • Ordering
  • Setting up new departments
  • Keeping the K-T display successfully merchandised
  • Showing latest items
  • Demonstrating Items
  • Attending grand openings

Calling on potential new customers. Showing them the benefits of the K-T line. Including, but not limited to:

  • Cold calling
  • Emails
  • Phone
  • Overnight travel required, depending on your location

Working with Regional Sales Manager to develop sales strategies and meet year end goals

Help identify trends and potential new products.

Complete Administrative Tasks Including but not limited to:

  • Completing Calendar Protocol
  • Expense Reporting
  • CRM
  • Keeping Contacts updated

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Highly Organized
  • A clean and valid driver’s license
  • Computer proficiency a plus
  • Merchandising and Sales Experience preferred, but will train the right individual
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong ability to prioritize and problem solve
  • Base Salary
  • Commissions based on percentage of new sales
